Welcome to Sunshine Coast Judo Club Inc. a not-for-profit incorporated sports association. We offer a FREE trial. We welcome all ages from 5 years old to veterans, offering training for beginners to the experienced judoka. Sunshine Coast Judo's mission is to cater for all students and their needs.
There is a common misconception about Judo that it is just a martial art about only throws or takedowns There is a range of techniques. Judo is about maximum efficiency with minimum effort with that being said learning Judo, you will learn Throws or Takedowns, Holddowns, Strangles or Chokes, Armbars, Counters and combinations, Kata as well as the values of Judo on how they apply to the sport and life in general.
We encourage anyone that wants to learn Judo for Fitness, Sport, or Self-defence to become part of our not-for-profit family and community.
